The need to be me

I’ve developed a life of dreams that drowned out my desires. My focus shifted from my needs to the more important needs of my family. However, I’ve discovered listening to my heart is an important need for my family. I can’t become lost in fixing snacks, changing diapers, and running errands. I am more then a mom. My children will become stronger individuals by seeing and growing up with a mother who is confident and allows her dreams to be shared. How do you maintain self-identity when so much of yourself is needed by others?
